*volunteers needed.  Summer is just around the corner and that means we are looking for volunteers to help out with teaching Summer Sunday School in June, July and early August. If you can help out with one, two or even three weeks that would be wonderful.  The Jr. & Sr. Youth go to church during the summer so we need assistance with the children from Pre-K through 5th grade. Please see Vicki Klemke or Sandy Laman if you can help with this fulfilling ministry.  A sign-up sheet is available in Harris Hall.  (We’re also looking for teachers for next year so please let us know if you would like to join our team.  It’s a very rewarding experience!)

mother’s day & pentecost offering

the rev. patsy mcgregor

sunday, may 11th, 2008

Bishop Frade, would like to invite the diocese to participate in a very special offering on Mother’s Day, May 11th. The Rev. Patsy McGregor, our only full-time missionary, joined her husband, Bishop Todd McGregor, in the Diocese of Antananarivo, Madagascar. When she left her missionary position in Kenya, she lost the support she received as a missionary of the Episcopal Church; a loss of over $30,000 per annum.

Bishop Frade is asking that all congregations of the diocese take a special offering at all services on Sunday, May 11th to support her ministry. Mark your check: “Mother’s Day Offering-Patsy McGregor” and send to:  Episcopal Charities, 8895 N. Military Trail, Suite 205-C, Palm Beach Gardens, Fl 33410.
