Newcomers

The Newcomers Ministry at St. Gregory's works with about 200 people each year. Some new members are transfers from other Episcopal churches, and some are new to the Episcopal faith. The Evangelism Committee has been created to help people learn about life at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church and help introduce them to the parish family. There are a variety of ministries and the Evangelism Committee aids in guiding and encouraging new members toward an area where they wish to become involved.

The clergy, vestry and activity representatives collectively invite new members to attend regular dinners throughout the year to answer any questions to familiarize people with St. Gregory's and the parish leaders. These dinners are also an excellent way for newcomers to meet the other people that are excited to grow with St. Gregory's Church. Those persons interested in becoming members at St. Gregory's are invited to contact the church office, located in the parish hall, or e-mail the Evangelism Chairman, Terrie Noland.
