Stewardship of Time, Talent, Treasure

Stewardship at St. Gregory's recognizes our responsibilities to the work of Christ in our home church, our diocese and the world. We follow an ongoing stewardship program to meet those goals. Our members donate portions of their time, talent and income in one or more ways.

According to the scriptures, the tithe is the standard for sharing our wealth with God. When our members prayerfully study and submit a pledge, this benefits both the member and the church. The member makes a commitment to place God first in the family budget as well as in the heart. This helps the Clergy and Vestry plan how to meet the financial needs of the church. While unpledged offerings are acceptable to God, it is only possible to do constructive planning when income can be anticipated. Donations can be gifts of money or securities.
