Visit to St. Marie Madeleine Parish in Bondeau, Haiti
The women of St. Marie
Madeleine Parish have formed a Women's Association and begun their first
business venture. They are learning to make bracelets with glass beads.
The bracelets will be sold
in the US. The profit will go into a fund that will be used to set up a sewing
and embroidery school and workroom. This is the first effort to empower the
women of Bondeau.

St. Gregory's
provided the Altar supplies for the first Eucharist service at St. Marie
Madeleine.

St. Marie
Madeleine Church serves as classroom space during the week and as church on
Sunday.
