WHAT TO EXPECT

The Youth are a curious, energetic, and live boldly kind of group. We welcome everyone’s uniqueness and aspire to love everyone as Christ’s example. On Sundays, we hang out, worship, pray, discuss topics and issues that are real for teenagers today. It’s a casual but focused time together and we hope all youth sense the welcoming spirit of our Youth Group!

Beyond Sundays, the Youth Group is active having fun and sharing life together. You might find us taking a weekend trip, in a candle making class, leadership training, cooking class, peer counseling and mental health awareness, serving or food packing, playing games and having way too much fun! We’re a group that is always on the go and seeking another opportunity to make a difference and enjoy the gift of life that we have been blessed with!

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose as a Youth Group is to learn and live out the four ships: Discipleship, Stewardship, Fellowship and Worship in all that we do. Pretty much everything we do will point back to one of the four ships and affirm that we are following Christ and growing more like His example with each day.

Anita has created an environment where children are nurtured in the love of Christ. Children are introduced to Bible stories, songs, prayer and activity to grow their minds and grow their curiosity in God and faith.

4th graders and above can be trained in being a servant in worship services at St. Gregory’s. It’s an enriching experience that will grow their knowledge of the Episcopal Church and deepen their faith in God.

Youth soak in the beauty of the mountains at Camp Kanuga, NC. It’s a summer camp experience that creates lasting friendships and memories!

Acolytes at St. G's

Youth learn the liturgical elements of worship and become a part of the worship experience by assisting and performing ceremonial duties.

Boca Raton Interfaith Youth Association

BRIYA is a locally formed group of youth groups from varying faiths coming together, learning from one another and making a difference!
