We are glad God led you to St. Gregory’s. Whoever you are and wherever you come from, know that you are welcome here. At St. Gregory’s, we are focused on forming a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ—and with newcomers like you. We love our traditional worship style, but our services are also dynamic, inspiring hearts and hands to action. We hope the following information will be helpful for your visit with St. Gregory’s!

AS YOU ARRIVE

There are greeters available to assist you with any questions or needs you may have. Please do not hesitate to ask for their help and they’d be happy to guide you around our Sanctuary for worship, or our Children’s and Youth areas for your children.

COFFEE HOUR

We have freshly brewed coffee and other refreshments available to you after the 8 and 10am services in Harris Hall. It’s a casual gathering and plenty of good fellowship, so join us!

OUR WORSHIP

As you enter the Sanctuary, Ushers will provide an order of service. Our services are intended to be inviting for everyone and to bring you closer to the presence of God’s love. All are welcome to join us in honoring please join us in honoring Christ at the Altar for communion. Every aspect of our worship from the music, message, prayer, and communion are meant to be honoring to God and to bring us all closer to God’s perfect love.

A TIME TO SAY HELLO!

We want to meet you when you come to worship with us. During the service we “pass the peace” with those around us at a designated time. This provides an opportunity to greet those around you by shaking hands and offering/receiving God’s peace. After each service, Clergy greet individuals at the main door at the rear of the sanctuary. Please do stop by as they will want to say hello and welcome you personally. Our Rector, Fr. Andrew, is well-known for remembering the names of newcomers and has shocked and surprised many of us with this wonderful gift! There are “Welcome Cards” in each pew for newcomers to complete so that we can learn a little about you and know how to provide you with more information about St. Gregory’s and how you can connect.

FOR INFANTS

Our Nursery is available for children from birth to 2 years old. If you have specific needs or information on your child that would be helpful to our Nursery staff, please let them know as you check into the Nursery.

FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH

Children from 3 years to 5th grade meet at 9:45 am and their time consists of singing, prayer, stories from the Bible, and arts and crafts. Their time is very engaging with interactive learning experiences and a focus on learning age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning about the life and example of Christ’s love for us all. Our middle school students have the option to attend our Confirmation Class at 9 am. Our Youth is geared towards high school students and meets at 9:45am. The youth engage in prayer, worship, Bible study, discussion groups, and time simply to hang out with one another. Our youth are welcoming to all and provide a comfortable environment for people to feel at ease and part of the group.
