THE SAFE CHURCH PROGRAM
The Safe Church Program instituted by the Diocese of Southeast Florida makes a difference in people's lives!
This week we are grateful for the National Church's efforts to keep every person safe and "to respect the dignity of every human being."
The purpose of the program is :
To protect all of God’s People, especially the vulnerable.
To ensure that everyone is aware of clear boundaries between people.
To alert all about the need to report any issues that raise alarm.
To understand the legal responsibilities of every person who works with a variety of people of different ages.
To reinforce the sacred connection of all community members.
To commit to keeping all safe, whether children, adults, or the elderly.
To adhere to the canons of the National Episcopal Church.
