LIFE PLANNING

Dear Beloved Members of St. Gregory's,

A custom in the Episcopal Church is to use Lent as a time to focus on planning for end-of-life issues. I understand, and the Church understands that this conversation can feel uncomfortable for some. But, as Christians, we understand there is both holy living and holy dying. To help us approach the sacred work of life’s final stage with intention, we are hosting two special gatherings. On Tuesday, March 17, during our Senior Social gathering (after the best lunch in Boca!), I'll lead a conversation on funeral planning and the spiritual issues to consider as we plan. On Sunday, March 22, during our enhanced coffee hour, Brad Oborne and Chris Leonard will present information about financial and estate planning as well as information about our Heritage Society at St. Gregory's.

These are important conversations, and good and useful information will be shared. I hope many will attend these sessions. And I promise this holy preparation makes a difference in our own life with God and is a gift to family and friends who come after us. Please join us.

In Christ,

Andrew+
