ONLINE MORNING PRAYER

I believe that most members know that we livestream our 10 am worship service. We average around 250 views of this service every week. I am grateful that our seasonal members stay connected through this worship, that the homebound and people unable to worship in person due to illness or travel stay connected, and that sometimes just the curious find their way to us. Just this week I received an email from someone who lived in another state who attended our Easter worship in person two years ago and has been watching our online worship ever since that visit. Who knew? What I believe is less well known is that on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9 am we livestream our Morning Prayer worship which is led by Tim Brumfield. Tim, being the creative and gifted musician that he is, weaves into this experience music from our beloved organ and grand piano. It's always beautiful and inspiring. A handful of us attend this morning worship in person as well.

A couple of weeks ago, a young woman, seeking to deepen her relationship with God showed up at our morning prayer service. After the service we welcomed her and asked how she had found us. She explained that she was in a place in her life where she desperately desired to connect with God and searched for online weekday worship. Through the Holy Spirit and algorithms of Google's technology, she was led to our online Morning Prayer service led by Tim. Since then, she has joined us for Sunday worship and brought family members with her. What a gift that our online Morning Prayer was available to her and to all who are seeking God!

Blessings in Christ,

Andrew+
