P.E.A.C.E.

St. Gregory's is becoming more active in PEACE, which is involved in social issues affecting the daily lives of our congregants and our community.

With the support of the Beloved Community Ministry at St. Gregory’s, PEACE will guide us in creating a place for storytelling, posing questions, and voicing concerns about our local community.

To begin our journey with PEACE, the Director and Facilitator, Paige Shortsleeves from the PEACE Organization of Palm Beach County (People Engaged in Active Community Efforts) is helping us engage in an interactive listening conversation that helps us identify critical needs of our community. Issues such as immigration, housing, mental illness, and homelessness are all affecting our day-to-day lives. Many of our ministries at St. Gregory’s Church are involved in these issues, and your stories are important. Since 1991, PEACE has been an interfaith organization in Palm Beach County that has actively identified and taken action on critical community issues. PEACE encourages our faith community to engage more thoughtfully in helping to identify and help to solve social problems.

Join us Sunday at 11:45 AM in the Conference Room to have a beginning conversation on what PEACE may add to our mission and our ministries.

Blessings
