A NEW SEASON OF GRACE
There is something wonderfully hopeful about this time of year at St. Gregory’s. As the quieter rhythms of summer give way to fall, a new program year unfolds with renewed energy. Ministries gather, our choir returns; friendships are rekindled, and fresh opportunities to grow in faith take shape all around us.
What makes this vibrant parish life possible is not any single program or person. It is each of you.
It is our teachers who prepare Sunday School lessons, our volunteers who serve our guests, our Altar Guild members who prepare the sanctuary for worship, our choir members and choristers who lead us in song, our ushers who arrive early, the Brothers of St. Gregory's and ECW members who plan events and work tirelessly in support of our mission. It is also those who tend our gardens, knit prayer shawls, welcome newcomers, reach out to neighbors in need, serve as Office Angels, give generously, pray faithfully, or simply show up regularly with open hearts. And so many, many more who give selflessly of their time, treasure, and talents in countless ways. Each of these acts contributes to the extraordinary life we share at St. Gregory’s. Each of you makes a difference.
As this new season begins, I want to say simply: thank you. Thank you for the countless ways you make St. Gregory’s the thriving, loving, faithful community that it is. I am deeply grateful to share this ministry with you, and I am excited to see all that God will continue to do through us in the season ahead.
In Christ,
Andrew+
